Medical Dictionaries and Other Nursing Resources
Merriam-Webster Online: Merriam-Webster is the preferred dictionary for both the Publication Manual of the APA and the Chicago Manual of Style. This site provides access to both the dictionary and the thesaurus.

Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC): Access to more than 1.2 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added twice weekly. If available, links to full texts are included: journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education-related materials. Search special collections from the What Works Clearinghouse and the Regional Educational Laboratories.
Journal Guidelines/Instructions to Authors: Provided by the Raymond Mulford Library at the Medical College of Ohio, this resource provides a list of links to instructions to authors for over 3,000 journals in the health and life sciences.

Handout on Avoiding Plagiarism:This handout was created by the CON’s Office for Research Support editor with students in mind. It contains detailed information about what constitutes plagiarism and consequences for plagiarizing, provides examples of original vs. plagiarized work, and supplies links to other information about plagiarism.
