Teaching:  Professor Chappell has been a clinical instructor for the past 7 years at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center on both medical and surgical units with the generic BSN program.

Service:   Professor Chappell continues to serve as Public Relation/Community events coordinator for North Central Florida Advanced Practice Nurses group coordinating health promotion, first aid, and blood pressure screenings at several local events over each calendar year.

Clinical Practice/Area of Expertise:  Professor Chappell has over 10 years Primary Care ARNP direct care duties at Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, prior staff nurse roles in MICU and surgical nursing care.

Education:   Professor Chappell received her BSN from the University of Florida with Honors in 1994 and her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner Track, from the University of Florida in 1997.
